We are excited to announce that The Stanwich School and Greenwich Country Day School have entered into a definitive agreement to consolidate students, faculty, operations and facilities into one Nursery to Grade 12 school.  This consolidation will culminate in the September 2019 grand opening of a new Greenwich Country Day High School–Stanwich Campus for combined Grades 9-12 students on Stanwich Road, and a fully integrated Nursery to Grade 8 program at the current GCDS campus on Old Church Road.

Due to this merger, Stanwich will only be accepting students in Grades 9 and above for the 2018 - 2019 school year. Siblings of current students will be considered for admission in all grade levels.

Admissions Welcomes You to The Stanwich School

Stanwich was created because we saw an important need in our community for a PreK-12, coeducational school that teaches students that substance matters most.

Stanwich enrolls students who are committed to developing their full potential through an accelerated academic curriculum and an authentic values-based program.  Each day at Stanwich, students are inspired to challenge themselves and be reflective of their learning and their impact on the greater community.

Stanwich graduates set off on a journey for college, having been fully immersed in an academic program that allows them to pursue their interests, preparing them for the challenges and adventures that lie ahead. Our dedicated, compassionate and highly skilled teachers motivate all students to take risks and try new experiences, as a means to establish and build independence of thought while understanding and valuing others’ points of view.

The best way to understand Stanwich is to visit our campus and witness for yourself how every individual student is fully engaged, challenged, and supported through their educational journey. Come see what makes the Stanwich experience so extraordinary.

Thank you for visiting our website.  We look forward to having the opportunity to meet you and discuss the potential for your family to join ours.
