Interscholastic competition begins in Grade 7. The school year is divided into three competition seasons: fall, winter and spring. Students are required to particiapte on an athletic team during each season.
In advance of each season, students select the athletic team on which they would like to participate. In most instances, students are assigned to their first choice.
Practices are scheduled during the school day, and games are typically scheduled on weekday afternoons. Uniforms are provided by the school. Likewise, transportation to and from practices and games is provided by the school.
