About Stanwich

The Stanwich School currently occupies two leased facilities — one in central Greenwich and one in Stamford. At the main campus on Stanwich Road, there is a full-size regulation soccer field, a second practice field as well as blacktop area, and a playground.

The Stamford campus boasts a playing field for football, soccer, field hockey, lacrosse and softball. The school's indoor gymnasium is used as a practice facility for basketball as well as for fitness classes.

The school provides students with numerous additional athletic offerings through adroit scheduling and the use of neighboring town fields.

The school also transports students to a variety of other venues for physical education classes, practices and games, including:

  • The Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich for indoor swimming and ice hockey
  • Greenwich Country Club for squash
  • Squash Alley for squash
  • Binney Park for soccer, lacrosse and baseball
  • The Eastern Greenwich Civic Center for basketball
  • Moretti Field for baseball and softball
  • Byram Park and Binney Park Tennis Courts
  • Havemeyer Field for soccer and baseball
  • Old Greenwich Tennis Academy
  • The New York Sports Club
  • Stamford Athletic Club
  • Scalzi Park for Physical Education and volleyball
  • Batter's Box in Norwalk for baseball
