Welcome to The Stanwich School web site. I am delighted to introduce you to our thriving, unique and growing School. 

As echoed in the words of our School song, Stanwich School really is "a dream come true."  Founded only ten years ago, The Stanwich School has achieved more than I could have hoped for.  The School has expanded to include grades Pre-K-9, posted student test scores across the grades that place it among the top academic schools in the region, and earned the distinction of having received full accreditation in just five years.  Most importantly, we have established a School where educating the whole child - mind, body and spirit - is accomplished every day.

The spirit and energy at The Stanwich School are contagious. On any given day you will see younger students with a skip in their stride, climbing the stairs to greet my dog Petunia (an indomitable daily presence), before gathering for morning assembly. Older students are hurrying off to athletic team practices or revising documents on their laptop computers.  Our hallways are awash with color as student artwork dazzles the eye.  Outside my office, I hear students singing in French and practicing scales on the piano.  I greet parents entering the building to join us for morning assemblies where we celebrate our students and reiterate our guiding principles: "Be Your Best, Help Others Be Their Best and Make God's World A Better Place."
