The Stanwich School faculty came out on top against the Stanwich alumni in the Third Annual Turkey Bowl in a high scoring affair.  The teams battled back and forth throughout the first half.  The alumni team jumped out early and scored on their first possession of the game.  The faculty moved the ball down the field, but had their drive stall in the alumni side of the field. However, the faculty struck back when Gary Dunn intercepted a pass and returned it for a touchdown.  The teams traded touchdowns for the rest of the half.   

Leading the way for the alumni team were Sam Latto, Dylan Brodie, Ford Nolan and Ben Enelow as they all managed to find their way to the endzone.  No football team is worth its weight without a solid line. Craig Ruzika provided the protection for the alumni team. The Stanwich faculty had their share of stars as well.  Jerome Murphy was throwing darts all over the place and hit Peter Franchella, Kylie Tar, Dan Combatti and Nick Carter with passes.  Chantal Angelis made an incredible spin move to get in the endzone as time expired at the end of the half. 

During the second half the faculty started to take control of the game.  The offense continued to move the ball with Mr. Murphy at the controls, as he continued to hit his receivers.  The Stanwich faculty picked up their defensive intensity and made it difficult for the alumni to put any points on the board.  Alumni quarterback Paul Freeman spread the ball around to Eddie Meizels, Milo Judge, Sebi Hickman and Evan Tesei, but it was not enough to rally the alumni past the faculty.   In the end, fun was had by all and everyone looks forward to Turkey Bowl IV next fall.
