Character
Stanwich's symbol, the Triskelion, represents Mind, Body and Spirit. It is this distinctive values-based, character-building education that sets Stanwich apart. At Stanwich, students are encouraged to:
Be the Best You Can Be
Help Others Be Their Best
Make God's World a Better Place
Community
We respect each individual, embrace diversity, and value the relationships uniting us as a school and connecting us with our local and global communities. Families, naturally, are an integral part of the Stanwich community. In addition to having values-focused parent workshops, parents participate in monthly values assignments and are required to sign a Code of Conduct.
Educational Excellence
We develop a love for learning by discovering and celebrating each student's abilities and talents through engagement with exceptional teachers in distinctive academic, artistic, athletic, and extracurricular experiences.
Service
An essential part of the school's mission is to "promote awareness of and service to others." Instilling a commitment to volunteerism among the students and parents is an integral part of the school's educational goals. Since its inception, the school has proactively reached out to and established meaningful relationships with numerous organizations in Greenwich, Stamford, New York City and other neighboring communities. Stanwich also participates in national and even international service programs, such as Project Blessing, our 10-year commitment to improve Cyabatanzit, the Rwanda village that our students have adopted.
