Mission:

The Stanwich School is a co-educational, independent day school, currently serving students in grades Pre-K through 9 (expanding through Grade 12). It offers a balanced education that builds a healthy mind, body and spirit through a rigorous academic curriculum, a varied physical education program and values emphasizing the Judeo-Christian principles and traditions.  Students, teachers and parents work together to foster a love of learning in a supportive, nurturing environment.

- A creative fine and performing arts program that is fully integrated into the curriculum
- Individualized schedules and academic advisors for all students in Grades 7 and up
- The use of computers and other technological resources as learning tools rather than ends in themselves
- One-to-one laptop use and instruction in Grades 7 and up
- Full student participation in community service projects as part of the regular school curriculum
- A full complement of field trips, clubs, after-school programs and enrichment events that enhance the curriculum
